The end of the world is a unique opportunity to create the show to end all shows. Around this tautology proposed by Transquinquennal, 13 professionals devoted themselves to opening up the impasse in a workshop called ‘Chantier Nomade’.
The French dictionary Le Littré reminds us that the expression ‘être en chantier’ means being close to the moment when the deceased’s body will be laid out on the stage to be exhibited, i.e. close to death.
We’re almost there. We’ve almost reached the spectacular form that could be the provisional conclusion to the questions that haunt us, but we’re certainly not there yet.
Instead of waiting and running the risk of being caught up by inevitable events whose fatality will not escape you, this Thursday 18 April 2013 at 21:30, we will broadcast a live sound performance.
To listen to the outcome of this workshop, stay right where you are, either tucked up in bed (if you’re up north), or out on your balcony or your terrace (if you’re down south).
